October Snow

Woke up this morning to snow.....FREAKING SNOW in October!

Don't get me wrong I love snow. I love snow when I am in the mountains by a large fireplace sipping Hot Chocolate or a nice bourbon. But No! I am in Kansas. No mountains, no wood burning fireplace and it is too early for Bourbon. Here I am working from home, and taking a little time to write this.

I read somewhere that if you start decorating for Christmas too early then you will get snow. Well Guess what my friends, I put up three Christmas Trees in the basement yesterday......I know I know, it isn't even Halloween yet but I did it. Guilty I am. So I will take the Blame for the snow.

I do not have kids at home (my kids are adults now) So there is no snow ice cream, snow angels, snowmen or snowball fights. Other than work and a few household chores, what do you do on a snow day? Read, write, take a nap, online shop? I am really curious what other people do.

I am absolutely totally BORED out of my Mind! It is 12:45 and I have finished everything work wise that I can do from home. Laundry is done, kitchen is clean, I even did my hair and makeup although I will not be leaving this house.

I am trying so hard not to continue to decorate my whole house. I would like to leave the upstairs Christmas decor free until after Halloween. Not sure if that will happen or not. So in the mean time...Wishing yall a Fabulous Day...
